I Found Hope on Saturday

Dear Friends,

Let me introduce myself to you. I’m Kelly Baker-Hefley and I was honored to be elected chair of the Williamson County Democratic Party a few weeks ago, after serving as Membership Chair and a member of the executive committee for the last four years.

These are odd times. None of us have experienced life as it is now, and now, more than ever, we need compassionate, thoughtful leadership in elected office.

I found hope Saturday.

The WCDP hosted its first training of the 2020 campaign season for our three candidates who are running for the Tennessee General Assembly. Sam Bledsoe (District 61), Elizabeth Madeira (District 63) and Jenn Foley (District 65) are energized and dedicated to improving the lives of all Tennesseans.

Each candidate offers the experience, strength, and hope that we all need to keep up the fight to move progress forward in Williamson County and Tennessee. In the coming days, weeks, and months, WCDP will be promoting our candidates, and I am confident that they will inspire you too.

In the meantime, I need your help.

To keep progressing and supporting our candidates, WCDP needs to shift to digital organizing, which means moving to online meeting platforms and digital canvassing.  If you are in a position to contribute, please consider a donation of  $25.

I look forward to knowing you. Together, we will make our state a better place for all Tennesseans.

Sincerely,

Kelly Baker-Hefley
WCDP Chair
