You are invited!
Please join us on October 21, 2023, in the Spring Hill community for a meet and greet to get to know your neighbors who are Democrats and progressives. Williamson and Maury counties tend to vote for Republican candidates but that doesn't mean that only conservatives live here. We all live here, too! And building a network of progressive neighbors and voters is one way we can begin making our voices heard more in local politics and government.
We will discuss the upcoming elections in 2023 and 2024, opportunities for community building, social justice and charitable organizations that are doing the work, ways to help more voters register and get to the polls, support of our more vulnerable neighbors and minority populations that tend to be targeted by Republican majorities, and how our local governments need to be pushed to provide services and affordable housing and other basics for a thriving community.
Our get together will be from 3:00 - 5:00 PM in a local home. Please email or text Teri Mai below for the address and other details. We welcome your questions and want you to feel comfortable attending this and future get togethers.
